More room for creative work.
We’re building a place where artists can develop their work and people can take part—as collaborators, audiences, hosts, and supporters.
What is
Studio Commons?
Studio Commons is a platform in development that gives artists practical tools, help with fundraising, and a community around their work. We’re starting with a small group of projects, helping artists share what they’re making and connect with people who can support it.
Over time, we’re building more ways for artists, audiences, venues, and partners to find one another, collaborate, and gather. This includes optional AI tools to help artists share their work and organize the activity around it, leaving more time for their practice. The aim is to bring more creative work to life, and build relationships that last beyond a single project.

working toward
A thriving creative ecosystem gives artists the support to make work, helps people discover it, and creates lasting connections around shared experiences.
More work made—and seen.
Help artists find funding, collaborators, spaces, and audiences so more creative ideas become work that people can experience.
Artists at the table.
Bring artists into the development of AI tools, with their perspectives shaping how those tools are built and how their work and intellectual property are respected.
More agency and opportunity.
Help artists use AI thoughtfully for the activity around their practice—from organizing projects to reaching supporters—while keeping creative decisions and ownership in their hands. Less administrative work, more time to create, and more ways to earn a living.
Art that brings us together.
Create opportunities to experience art, exchange perspectives, and discover what moves us. Help more people develop their taste, explore their own creativity, and build relationships through art.
A note
from Jean.

Studio Commons brings together two parts of my life: my work in technology and AI, most recently at Google DeepMind, and twenty years in the arts as a former dancer, supporter, and board member.
I’ve seen how much a creative vision depends on the people around it. I’m building Studio Commons to help those connections happen—and help more work come to life.
